MARAKATA MANDALA
Nartha - Feather Collection
βAn emerald circle of infinite beauty.β π
Marakata β emerald, the rich jewel-green
Mandala β circle; a centred, harmonious geometric form
The name belongs to that extraordinary pallu. You see the saree once and that giant emerald-and-ivory circle stays in your mind.
Product Description
Bold, artistic and unmistakably distinctive, Marakata Mandala unfolds in a rich Deep Emerald Green, animated by dramatic Charcoal Black resist patterns and softly feathered Off-White halos.
Her showstopper is the pallu β a magnificent oversized concentric mandala spreading across a deep Charcoal Black canvas in layers of Emerald Green, Black and Minty Off-White. A solid Midnight IndigoβBlue Black blouse piece provides a beautifully restrained contrast to the expressive saree.
Contemporary in spirit yet rooted in resist-dye aesthetics, Marakata Mandala is made for the woman who enjoys wearing art.

π€ NARTHA Note
The feathered edges, irregular resist patterns and subtle variations in colour, motif shape and alignment are part of this textile's individual character. These organic variations should not be considered defects; they are what give the saree its distinctive artistic personality.

And yes β Textile Investigation Department has interfered again, but only for five seconds. π I have deliberately not written authentic handloom vat dye, vegetable dye, Shibori, Mandal Clamping, or premium mulmul as confirmed technical specifications. The images support the resist-dyed appearance, but they cannot prove those processes or fibre/weave specifications.
